You don't want a piece that's perfect. While creating the Argilla vase, it was allowing the clay to take its own direction that has led to some of my most wonderful pieces by letting slumped and misshapen vases transform into a work of beauty. It’s what differentiates the handmade pot from a commercially cast piece. We wanted to make something perfect that was also imperfect. Rough, uneven, full of holes, and sometimes even tilting, the Argilla sculptures nevertheless have an ineffable beauty.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase after it is delivered, you may return it within 30 days of time of purchase and receive a refund for the price of the product excluding any shipping fees (see return/refund exceptions below). Original shipping charges (paid by you or American Retail as a part of Free Shipping) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping charges will not be refunded. American Retail does not supply pre-paid shipping materials for returns or cover the returned merchandise shipping fees.

Returned items must meet these requirements: 

  • Returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Damaged items, incorrect items, or missing items must be reported  within 24 hours of receiving your merchandise. Any reports after that will only be issued store credit. 

Return/Refund Exceptions:

  • Requests for return/refund for information that is written in the description of the product will only receive store credit.
  • Canvases & Candles are made to order and are non-refundable. If you have any quality issues with your canvas or candle, please contact us.

Customs & Duties: Customer is responsible for paying any additional custom taxes or charges by your government or post office.

Return Processing time:  Once we have received your package, your return will be processed within 4-7 business days. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed. If you have requested a refund, please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us (typically 2-5 business days). Original shipping charges (paid by you or American Retail as a part of Free Shipping) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund. We do not provide return shipping labels so please make sure the information is accurate when you send it. Customer is responsible for paying all shipping cost to return items back to American Retail. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will not eligible for a refund.

BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR RETURN LABEL RECEIPT FROM THE POST OFFICE SO YOU HAVE PROOF OF RETURN.

Store credit:  All credits will be issued by coupon code. Online store credit can only be used at our website. We are unable to transfer this to another person or account. Any purchase amounts that exceed the value of the store credit or gift card will require an additional method of payment for remaining balance due. 

Shipping:  Shipping times are approximate and depends on where your country is located, your postal office, and custom practices. Your order might be shipped in multiple shipments for us to optimize shipping and delivery times. 

Returned packages that is not the fault of the sender can be resent at the expense of the customer. Refunds for returned packages that is not the fault of the sender will be issued in full less the expense of the shipping costs incurred by the sender.
